Sugar Sweet.


Sugar is a Perth-born artist currently based in Melbourne who has been passionate about drawing form a young age. Producing works in charcoal, acrylic and aerosol, Sugar has developed a unique style that blends the techniques of realism with surreal themes.

Showcasing work through a number of group and solo exhibitions, carrying out commissioned canvas and mural artwork, and having travelled around Europe painting, Sugar has also attained a certificate in graphic design.

Residing in Melbourne, Sugar is currently working as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and mural artist, additionally taking commissions on canvas and wood. Sugar most enjoys painting realistic flora and fauna in conjunction with objects that signify the concept of time. Sugar draws these elements together by distorting aspects of line and form, lending to his distinctive style.
